About me!

Hello! My name is Patrycja, or Pati for short. I am a Polish immigrant with a lifelong passion for all things involving the natural world and its many parts. For as long as I can remember, the outdoors and the animals that inhabit them, have played a big role in my life. I always preferred to watch documentaries and perform experiments as a child, and this passion followed me into my adulthood. Namely, my love of animals and learning about them. At age 17 I got my first reptile, a ball python, and this was the first pet that became my sole responsibility. From then on my passion grew and I expanded my personal research about reptiles, their natural history, and their domestic care. Today, I personally own and manage the care of over 15 reptiles and amphibians. It is my personal mission to educate people about these amazing, but often feared and misunderstood, animals. For my science background I have a BS in Health Science and am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in biology.
